Arrived in a hot London – it’s summer indeed!

Taking it easy on my first day of holiday, I started with a leisurely visit to Covent Garden close by my hotel.

Quite touristy, but still some charm in its bustling atmosphere and street performers.

St. James’s Park offers much needed cool shadows on such a day, and being close to water is always great in the heat.

Much cooler this morning so I challenged myself with a slow climb up Hampstead Heath.

The panoramic views from the top were worth the effort.

It was a half an hour walk back down to Camden Market.

Also very commercial. I remember it differently, but it was nearly 30 yars ago…

Slow Sunday vibes at one of the rooftops of London, and I am really looking forward to my wine course starting tomorrow!
