Two weeks booked, with new experiences and bucket list items, in England and France.

1. London

Soundtrack: Waterloo Sunset, The Kinks

Excited about this one – joining a five day wine tasting course at Le Cordon Bleu Summer Wine Week. The program looks great, and I hope to learn a lot and meet likeminded people from around the world.

Besides this I also am keen to experience London during summertime for the first time.

2. The «Chunnel»

Soundtrack: Dover Calais, Style

Taking the train through the Channel Tunnel has been on my bucket list, and my itinerary made it possible this year. No expectations for the view, though…

3. Lille

Soundtrack: T.B. Sheets, Van Morrison

Never been there, looks like a charming city, and will complete my «10 in 10» for France. More to be explained later.

4. Paris

Soundtrack: Sous le Ciel de Paris, Edit Piaf

Coming back to Paris in summer feels like coming home. I will join the same «3 days in the kitchen» programme as last year, at Ritz Escoffier. So I was telling the truth when I said how much I loved it.

I will also check off a bucket list item in welcoming the Tour de France for their final stage into Paris on July 27th.

After this, I will decide where to point my nose for the final week of summer vacation this year.
