Tokyo, April 5th 2026

Shinkansen back to Tokyo for the last night, time goes fast with a delicious bento-box. Too foggy and rainy to see Mount Fuji though.

Stayed in Minato, very handy for the monorail out to the airport, but also a part with less people, green parks, and the Tokyo Tower which is a miniature Eiffel tower.

Late afternoon I went back to the quite crazy Harajuku area, home of a big gaming and anime culture. Fluffy animal overload!

For my last dinner I went to a teppanyaki restaurant, and ate a lovely and tender japanese steak.

After watching a football match at a pub, I headed back to the hotel in the rain, luckily helped by the always efficient metro railway system.

Last view of Tokyo from the monorail, a quite long flight back home awaits.
