A little bit of lunchtime shopping in Doguyasuji which is the «kitchenware street» of Osaka – a myriad of different shops.

I had this ramen place recommended and was a bit surprised to see the seating arrangement – but the ramen was superb!

In the afternoon I took a walk down the riverside of a side river to Yodo river – of course adorned with cherry trees.

Instayed until sunset and caught the last rays of sunshine on both modern and historical buildings.

Illuminated, the trees take on new colours and forms – quite captivating.

Tomorrow I am heading out of the city to a fishing village north of Kyoto called Ina. Looking forward to that.
