Last vacation day and the start was at the Mercat Central d’Alacante, one of the biggest in Spain.

Bombed by Franco during the civil war, the original market clock stopped at 11:21 AM.

The bottom floor of the market has seafood and vegetables.

On the top floor, there is an abundance of meat, both cured and fresh.

During the tour of the Market, it was possible to sample different types of local products.

Not far from the market was the old town, nestled under the castle originally built during the Moorish era of this part of Spain.
